๐ฏ The Goal
I can create a professional folder structure in Google Drive and use color-coding to organize my school subjects.
๐ The Walkthrough: How it Works
Think of Google Drive as your digital backpack. If you just throw files in there without folders, you will never find them again!
- Folders: Used to group similar files together.
- Sub-folders: Folders inside other folders (e.g., “Maths” inside “Year 7”).
- Organization: Right-clicking folders allows you to change colors or move items easily.
โ The Checklist: Your Task
Open your Google Drive and complete these steps:
- Create a Hub: Click + New > Folder and name it “Year 7”.
- Subject Folders: Open your “Year 7” folder and create four new folders inside it: English, Maths, Science, and Computing.
- Color Code: Right-click your Computing folder, select Organize, and change the color to Red.
๐ Level Up! (Extension)
- Starring: Find a folder you think you will use every day. Right-click it and select “Add to Starred.” Can you find the Starred menu on the left-hand side?
