๐ŸŽฏ The Goal

I can use Google Calendar to block out my school schedule and set up recurring events.

๐Ÿ“– The Walkthrough: How it Works

A digital calendar is better than a paper one because it can send you notifications and repeat events automatically.

  • Events: Blocks of time for lessons, clubs, or tutor time.
  • Recurring Events: Events that “repeat” (e.g., every Monday at 9:00 AM) so you only have to type them in once.

โœ… The Checklist: Your Task

Open Google Calendar and complete these steps:

  1. Find the Time: Locate 9:00 AM on tomorrow’s date on your calendar grid.
  2. Create an Entry: Click the empty slot and add the title: “Tutor Time Skills.”
  3. Make it Repeat: Click on the “Does not repeat” dropdown menu and change it to “Weekly on [Day].”
  4. Save: Click Save and then check next week’s calendar to see if the event appeared there automatically.

๐Ÿ† Level Up! (Extension)

  • Color Coding: Can you change the color of your “Tutor Time” event so it stands out from your other calendar entries?
